Decorating a Professional Office

FINALLY, y'all. I have my office put together! I cannot contain how stoked I am to show you this one.

But, just to give you a taste...



EEEK, Right? It was quite the fixer-upper.


Today, I can happily say this is what our little green house looks like:


We even have a second entrance in the back with a wheelchair ramp for elderly clients!

Martin and I are ecstatic to be living + working in Round Rock, having been a dream of ours to move here for years.


Our office home is the home of the original Round Rock Telephone Company, built in 1904! My office used to be the switch board room and the back wall used to just have one giant switchboard on it that one little old lady operated by herself. You can still see the remnants of the switchboard the way my two closets are set out (they're connected!).

Our little green HISTORIC house will be getting her Historic Building plaque soon. We're excited to be a part of history and treasure the house!

The chairs in my office are from The Inside and I worked with them to create these beautiful blue custom chairs in Blue Cherry Blossom - a 100% cotton fabric with 15,000 guaranteed "double rubs." My clients will have a hard time wearing out these babies anytime soon! It also passes California TB117-201 and Prop. 65, is Oeko-tex certified + contains no VOCs.
